Cupid's Punch

Valentine's Day is coming up!  I love being festive, even if Valentine's Day is a 'Hallmark' holiday!  This punch is absolutely delicious!  You can either keep it non-alcoholic or add vodka for an adult-friendly cocktail.  Whether you are having an anti-Valentine's Day party or celebrating with friends this punch will be a hit!

In a serving bowl, mix one scoop of raspberry sherbert for every 12 ounces of Sprite.  If you want to make it a brighter pink, add a little bit of food coloring.  Garnish this punch with fresh raspberries if you would like.  And this punch is definitely vodka-friendly ;)

Grandma's Whiskey Slush

This recipe is from my great-grandma and she really knew how to make a good drink!  This is the type of recipe that makes everyone happy!  The girls are happy because it's a slushie and the guys are happy because it's whiskey.  Win-Win.

Ingredients:
7 cups of warm water
2 cups of sugar
1 Lg. can of frozen lemonade
1 Lg. can of frozen orange juice
4 green tea bags
2 cups of steeping water
2 1/2 cups of whiskey
Directions:
1. Boil the 4 green tea bags in 2 cups of water until it's strong and steeping
2. Mix the warm water, sugar, lemonade, orange juice, 2 cups of steeping green tea, and whiskey together until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Freeze in containers.
4. When ready to serve, fill glasses 3/4 of the way full and then top it off with squirt.  Serve with a straw and spoon.
