Timeless Fashion Pieces

 Black Pants: A pair of great-fitting black pants will be able to be worn as business professional or business casual. Did I mention that if you invest in a pair of well-tailored black pants you can wear virtually any pair of heels you want? Unless, of course, they are flats or 5 inches tall.

 Little Black Dress:  Perfect for a night out with the girls, a dinner party, or pair it with a cardigan and wear it to work.  Referring back to fashion icons, Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel, this little number is sexy, chic, and elegant.

Knee Length Skirt:  Not every body is flattered by a slim-looking pencil skirt so you may also want to try a pencil skirt with a slight A-line if you find the traditional pencil skirt looking like a fashion disaster.  To make this a timeless piece choose fabrics that are neutral so they can be mixed and matched more easily.  Avoid houndstooth, bold prints, and trendy colors when finding your knee length skirt.

Suit:  If you don't already have a well-tailored suit it is time for you to go shopping!  A suit that fits you well looks great when giving presentations at work or school and job interviews.  You can make your suit super professional by wearing a button-up shirt underneath or you can make it casual by wearing a flirty blouse, cami, or a light sweater underneath.

Black Pumps:  I am giving you full and total permission to spend a little extra on a pair of comfortable black heels.  Keep the heels closed toe and somewhere around 3-4 inches in height.  While you can choose velvet or leather I would suggest leather because it looks great throughout all four seasons.
